Serves as a central dispatcher, receiving all routine and emergency phone calls, dispatching police officers and appropriate police supervisory personnel via radio or telephone to calls for assistance. Prepare the computerized daily police operational journal related data into the Veterans Health Information Systems and Technology Architecture (VISTA), Veterans Affairs Police System (VAPS) or other computer terminals in the communications center. Also monitors CCTV and alarm systems.
